Superintendent Construction

We are a Commercial General Contractor seeking a motivated job site Superintendent looking to succeed in an ever developing industry. We have a sixty-nine year history in the commercial and light industrial construction markets along the gulf south region. We are looking for someone interested in joining our field team and bringing their skills, experience and knowledge to complete successful projects.

• Job Description
  • Direct supervision of all onsite activities from start to finish of project (Out of the ground through punch out).
  • Interpret and implement construction drawings/plans and specifications.
  • Manage and communicate with subcontractors and vendors on all scopes of work.
  • Direct and schedule onsite company field employees / crews on their daily work tasks.
  • Coordinate and schedule materials, products and equipment to the job site to meet the project timelines.
  • Physically layout walls, foundations, framing members, paving, etc. by utilizing standard survey equipment.
  • Communicate knowledgeably with project managers, architects, engineers, developers and owners.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment throughout the course of the project.
  • Organize and complete daily reports for all the onsite activities completed each day.
  • Follow and enforce all safety requirements to create a safe work place.
  • Ability to travel and work at project locations in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
• Requirements Needed
  • 3 to 5 years minimum experience supervising projects in the commercial sector.
  • 3 to 5 years minimum field experience working direct on commercial projects.
  • Fluent in all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Microsoft project, Etc.).
  • Able to fully interpret construction documents (Plans, Specification, Submittals, etc.)
  • Goal oriented and does not require micro management or daily motivation to get the job done.
  • Has to be willing to put in the effort to keep the projects on schedule.
