Civil Sitework Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule
• Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
• Collaborate with design teams to review schematics and ensure compliance with specifications
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
• Assist with monthly pay applications
• Assist with change orders
• Assist with delay claims
• Assist with bid reviews prior to being submitted
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction crews and subcontractors as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred
• Must have experience in construction site work
• Minimum of 5 year’s experience in civil construction, with a proven history of successful project delivery
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Must have knowledge of change orders and delay claims
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes

SALARY

• $90k - $99k DOE
