Senior Accountant

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparing timely and accurate financial statements
• Preparing Journal Entries
• Preparing GL account reconciliations with a thorough understanding of the balances
• Performing monthly and ad hoc analysis that give management insightful information needed for decision making
• Calculating and filing various taxes
• Assisting with cost savings initiatives
• Assisting with budgets and helping management understand performance vs. budget
• Assisting with process improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned by the Controller

• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate/build relationships with stakeholders at all level
• Highly accountable with strong organizational skills
• Seeks information to learn about and understand all aspects of the company
• Takes initiative on projects and goals
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Has 3-6 years of experience in the accounting field
