Summary

• In this role, the selected candidate will work with a highly motivated and engaged Agile team to provide oversight of the Agile framework and ensure operational excellence in product deliveries.
  • Provide guidance and help educate the team in Scrum, Kanban, and ensuring that the Agile process is being followed.
  • Help remove impediments and fosters an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Ensures software standards are met

Job Requirements

• 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD, OR an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years working in an Agile team
• Must have active Secret Clearance 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have Security+ certification 
• Must have Scrum Master certification (i.e. Scrum Inc, Scrum Alliance, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, etc.)
• Approximately 10% travel
  
• Thorough knowledge of agile principles, practices and methods
• Practical experience of servant-leadership in agile teams
  
• Ansible scripting experience
• Bash/shell scripting
• PowerShell scripting
• Experience in the deployment and management of NFS shares, troubleshooting

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA and Confluence
  
• Kerberos/Active Directory experience and integration
• RHEL customization/optimization
• VMware or RHEL certification
• Mixed environment integration
