EHS manager

Loparex LLC is the worlds largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. We are currently looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to work at the Hammond, WI facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible leading and managing all functions relating to safety and environmental regulatory compliance for the Hammond, WI facility. This position is an active member of the plant leadership team driving accountability for safety initiatives and cultivating a safety culture focused on active employee participation and continuous improvement in performance.

The position is responsible for developing, leading, and maintaining safety programs, complying with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, leading the safety committees and behavior-based safety program, inspecting and evaluating the workplace environment, equipment and practices, identifying training needs, developing training programs and securing outside training as necessary. This person is also responsible for environmental reporting, RCRA, and hazardous waste.

Qualifying candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in related field and 6 to 10 years of relevant safety experience in a manufacturing environment, strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, working knowledge of workers' compensation law, knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance, and strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. CSP certification is preferred.
