Project Manager - B2B Retail - Arlington, TX

 

About our client:

Our client is a wholesale importer of over 30 years, located in Arlington, TX. Their selection of products includes Christmas, Fall, Halloween, Spring and Easter merchandise, as well as garden and floral accents.

 

Each season, customers are provided with a new array of items to choose from, with hundreds of new designs, in coordinating themes. With showroom locations include: Atlanta, Dallas, Columbus, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, and New York, our client has taken on an array of new business, and is in the process of actively hiring, hence the need for an established Project Manager to strengthen the infrastructure of this rapidly growing company.

 

Position Function:

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and working with overseas vendors on samples that are designed by the Product Development department.

 

The Project Manager also ensures that products meet design specifications, quality standards and timely production for design meetings and showrooms.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages all aspects of product development from inception to conclusion.
  • Push art and product specifications to the oversees vendors.
  • Maintain project records, ensures that all regulatory documents are accurate, processed and approved.
  • Review and distribute project documents and updates data daily.
  • Acts as point of contacts on assigned products, categories, and lines.
  • QC sample orders and allocations to be uploaded into NetSuite.
  • Place Sample PO's.
  • Responsible for adhering the T.O.P. Quality Control SOP.
  • Input quote sheet info, analyze and submit proforma invoices.
  • Proof catalogs to ensure product information is correct and complete
  • Support other departments as required my management

 

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years in equivalent role.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communications skills - email correspondence.
  • Follow up and follow-thru skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends, as necessary.
  • Proofing skills is a plus
  • Retail or Wholesale experience preferred
