Risk Analyst

Seeking a highly skilled and engaged individual with a passion for Fraud and Financial Analysis. The ideal candidate is passionate about evaluating financial stability of small business to stay one step ahead of financial losses, identifying fraud risk using key data indicators and investigation, while protecting and minimizing the impact for our customers. An understanding of financial risk behaviors and patterns, financial records; such as invoices, balance sheets and bank statements, fraud indicators and investigations is mandatory for this role.

Work Schedule: TUE (flexible start times) - SAT (7am - 3:30pm PT)

Hybrid onsite schedule: TUE and THU

Skills

• Must be able to work overtime as well as Saturdays and most holidays

• Experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry (3-5 years preferred) with the ability to identify the behaviors and signs of risky financial transactions or accounts.

• Excellent research and investigative skills

• Proficient use of technology with exceptional internet research skills.

• Ability to make independent and sound decisions and think on your feet in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to partner and work seamlessly across the team to effectively document and share problems, opportunities, and solutions.

Data entry skills

• Knowledge of fraud behaviors, financial risk, and credit card disputes to understand potential Merchant risk behavior.
