Insurance - Account Manager - Insurance Assistant- Commercial & Personal Lines- Independent Agency

We are seeking an Insurance Account Manager - Insurance Assistant- CSR. We are a full-service Independent Commercial & Personal lines Insurance Agency with multiple Carrier options. CIG has been serving the Littleton, Columbine Valley area for over 23 years. CIG is a CIAA/SIAA Agency. No Health or Life. This is an in-office position in SW Littleton. We are licensed in Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Nevada, Nebraska and New Mexico.

We are an exclusive Better Business Bureau partner Agency representing; "the Pinnacol Assurance Workers' Comp Safety Group Plan"

The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years’ experience in personal and commercial insurance, have a current Colorado Property and Casualty License, and experience with Applied Epic, our agency management system. Please do not apply if you do not have a current P & C license.

Responsibilities:

Answering and Directing phone calls
Deliver our client communication and retention plan
Handling daily mail
Processing Certificates of Insurance
Carrier knowledge & quoting with: Hartford, Travelers, Nationwide, Secura, Safeco, Liberty Mutual, Pinnacol, CNA, Berkshire Hathaway, CRC, Amwins, RPS, Central, Zurich, Republic Indemnity, Employers, Western Pacific, Chubb, State Auto, Hartford AARP program
Processing policy change requests and endorsements
Processing renewals and new business proposals
Processing downloads from Carriers
Applied Epic agency management systems updates and support

Qualifications:

2-5 years' experience in commercial and personal lines insurance
Strong problem solving and communication skills are needed
Skilled in email-communication and making phone calls
A COLORADO PROPERTY & CASUALTY LICENSE
Applied EPIC Agency Management systems experience is a plus (A higher pay level for this experience)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
