HR GENERALIST - TEXAS

A successful HR Generalist at Sunlight and Triathlon Americas requires a blend of strong emotional intelligence (EQ), analytical prowess, and confident communication abilities across all levels of the organization. As a crucial liaison between management and employees, the HR Generalist must possess the empathy and insight to understand and address the diverse needs and concerns of the workforce. Their analytical skills enable them to assess complex data, identify trends, and formulate strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. Additionally, adept communication skills allow them to convey information clearly and concisely, whether it's collaborating with senior leadership to develop policies or providing guidance and support to individual employees.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Deliver performance management coaching to managers and employees.
• All aspects of the recruitment process (selection, job posting, interviewing, related administration)
• Act as first point of contact for managers and employee needs, including policy clarification, recruitment support and benefit questions.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Human Resources and the broader leadership teams.

• Deliver HR and employee communications (Update Bulletin Boards, Update digital monitor etc)

• Generate offer and status change letters.

• All aspects for employee onboarding. Pre- Hire Background, Drug Screen and add to EIQ.

• Complete verification of employees (E-Verify)

• Employee counseling and documentation of attendance and general HR issues.

• Record keeping on pay, employment, and performance review files.

• Unemployment claims/ Employment Verification

• New hire enrollment and yearly re-enrollment of benefits

• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws for all employees.

• Deliver on training and development opportunities tailored to staff and managers alike.

• Create and introduce policies or events designed to enhance employee communications, morale, and the overall work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or related field.
• SHRM or PHR certification
• At least 5-6 years of progressive HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human resources practices, principles, and federal/state/local laws.
• Strong MS Excel experience (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office Suite; HRIS, Payroll ADP Workforce Now
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in an evolving work environment.
