Job Description

First Texas Homes is seeking a Chief Architect Designer for its office in Dallas, Texas. Primary duties will include, but not be limited to, develop drawings with minimal supervision based on existing or new designs. Great communication skills is a MUST, as they will be required on a daily basis to understand requests.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have minimum 1-3 years’ experience preparing drawing with Chief Architect Software, with the ability to adapt to our system.
Create preliminary and final drawings based on requests given.
Prepare plan, section and detail design drawings.
Work closely with other Designer/Drafters and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design.
Follow discipline-specific and company CAD standards.
Produce drawings on schedule with quality and clarity.
Understand life cycle of the project and manage personal workload on projects from start to finish.
Be highly organized.
