IT Solutions Engineer

Purpose:

Perform diversified technical and administrative tasks using independent judgment and actions. Work with workstations, servers, network equipment, physical and virtual servers, cloud technologies and services, Windows domains, Microsoft 365 standard and advanced services, client specific technology and hardware support, and on-call support as required. Providing support to customers, team members, and the management team is key to the success of this position.

Areas of Expertise Desired:

1. Network support and configuration (firewall, switch, router, access point, Internet access).
2. Server virtualization (Hyper-V and/or VMware).
3. Windows Server support, configuration, and administration - Server 2019 and earlier.
4. Microsoft 365 Cloud Services and Applications desired (SharePoint, Exchange, Outlook, etc.).
5. Microsoft 365 Identity, Intune, and other advanced services.
6. Windows desktop and laptop support - Windows 11 and earlier.
7. Microsoft SQL and Exchange experience preferred.
8. Mac desktop and laptop experience desired.
9. Mobile device experience and mobile device management tools desired.
10. Systems security and compliance knowledge and experience desired.

Position Standards:

1. Experience supporting business level technology solutions for a minimum of two years.
2. Associate's or higher degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
3. Relevant and current technology certifications preferred.
4. Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record required.
5. Clean background check and drug screen required.

Position Information:

Salary is negotiable, according to individual qualifications. This position is an exempt salary position. Current federal law requires identification and eligibility verification prior to employment. Only US citizens authorized to work in the United States may be employed. The position is based in Morristown, TN and is not a remote work position.
