NETZSCH is looking for a detail oriented individual to work as a Payroll and HR Coordinator to work out of the North American headquarters in Exton, PA. The Payroll and HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting various HR functions.  This position is able to work hybrid - remote/in office after training.

This position will support two business units under the NETZSCH Group, an internationally operated technology company. NETZSCH Pumps & Systems is the world market leader for Progressing Cavity Pumps that are used in a variety of industrial applications. NETZSCH Grinding & Dispersing is a leading manufacturer of milling, mixing, dispersing, and classifying equipment.

The Payroll and HR Coordinator will process payroll data to maintain payroll and employee records and regularly compile payroll statistics and reports. This position will also take part in Human Resources related activities and tasks. The job function be accomplished by performing the following duties among others:

  • Prepares and submits bi-weekly payroll through web based Payroll system and maintains accuracy of the data in the payroll system.
  • Enter new hires and records job, benefits and pay changes in the payroll system
  • Coordinate new hire employee onboarding
  • Calculate income related to company provided cars based on information provided by employees and adjusts payroll accordingly
  • Maintain and administer employee recognition programs (length of service, birthday, spot bonuses) and coordinate other employee related Company events.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee files.
  • Provide backup and support to Human Resources.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will have previous experience processing multi-state payroll using a web-based payroll system. In addition, we are looking for:

  • Previous experience using a web based system, preferably Paychex, to process payroll is required.  Previous HR experience and a strong interest to learn payroll may be considered in lieu of direct payroll experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures and all related laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with basic Human Resources policies preferred, or an interest in HR.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail to perform work accurately and thoroughly while adhering to deadlines.
  • Must have a high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidential, sensitive information.
