Medical Assistant - Vickery Pediatrics

Then we have a spot waiting for you. We are seeking an engaging Medical Assistant to join our team supporting one of our HHM Health Pediatric clinics. As part of the HHM team, you’ll be responsible for providing medical assistance to our physicians/ care providers. You will prepare patients for examination and treatment, assist the physicians/care providers with procedures, perform laboratory tests and other functions, and educate patients on their plan of treatment

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Assess patient’s conditions by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, respiration, height and weight, and BMI.
• Document patient's information in the EMR-medical records system (eClinicalWorks).

What you need to succeed

To be a productive member of our team, you will have a pleasant and professional demeanor, self-starter, ability to work independently, strong communication skills and the ability to preserve confidentiality. You will also have the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification
• minimum 1 year exp with pediatric patients
• Working knowledge of computers and data entry
• Spanish Strongly Preferred but not required
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience preferred but not required
• Desire to make a positive impact
