Director of Operations

Position Title: The Director of Operations

Jones Networking is searching for an experienced Director of Operations to join a large CPA firm in Towson that provides free parking and excellent benefits. The Director of Operations will work closely with partners and be responsible for optimizing firm workflow, promoting a culture of strong communication and teamwork, and taking a hands-on approach to daily operations.

Director of Operations Position Summary:
- Supervise workflow of client deliverables in coordination with client service and administrative staff
- Negotiator for workflow priorities, scheduling conflicts, and overseeing internal/external expectations
- Point of contact for planning and execution of audit
- Establish processes and monitor compliance to ensure underlying data is accurate
- Oversee administrative support staff to ensure production, client service, facility, and office matters are handled efficiently
- Assist the Director of HR
- Supervise and improve timekeeping, billing, and collection policies
- Work with IT and management to execute rollouts of new systems
- Basic knowledge of issues affecting the CPA profession

Director of Operations Qualifications Summary:
- Minimum of 10 years prior experience in a professional services firm, preferably a CPA firm
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Knowledge and use of MS Office 365 programs
- Remarkable data manipulation skills and the ability to understand the flow of data
- Strong business acumen and a basic understanding of daily business operations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a timely and effective manner
- Outstanding follow-up orientation
