Director of Support Services

Summary:
The Director of Support Services is responsible for ensuring all supervision of care coordination, interns, and community resources for KARM programs. Crossroads is the community resource hub of KARM. This director will work to fulfill the goal of providing access to local agencies on site for those experiencing homelessness and in need of vital services. The position will lead the care coordination efforts for all of KARM programs. The director will manage a medium size (8-12) team of care coordinators and interns to provide a continuum of support as guest move through programs and into housing.
Responsibilities:
- The Director of Crossroads will oversee the (5) areas within programs below:
- Intake: Complete HMIS interview, Provide Shelter diversion, Enter Data
- Triage: Provide Medical and Mental health assessment
- Assess: Place guest on a programmatic track within 30 days of their First Encounter
- Refer: Connect each guest with the appropriate program or agency
- Monitor: Provide 1-1 and/or group case management for all guests enrolled in the short-term track.
- Manage the day-to-day functions of the Crossroads Resource Center, providing service to those experiencing homelessness and seeking assistance
- Maintain and update calendar of events of those agencies collaborating with KARM through the Crossroads Resource Center and making this calendar available for both KARM staff and for outside agencies serving the homeless in order to promote the opportunities available
- Orchestrate a smooth flow of services between Crossroads Resource Center, agencies providing services, and KARM programs for the guests entering short- and long-term programs
- Oversee the orientation, training, supervision, and professional development of interns/volunteers on effective ministry, relational, technical, and administrative aspects of service
- Manage the monthly budget; provide input into annual projections and development of future budgets
- Monitor and maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment
Requirements:
- Commitment to KARM's mission and agreement with our statement of faith and guiding values
- Organizational leadership experience and skill
- Demonstrated competency in meeting deadlines and accomplishing departmental objectives
- Database management/utilization
- Ability to work in a team environment and to work collaboratively with a variety of constituencies
- Strong coaching and management skills
- Ability to effectively adapt to change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- LCSW, LMHP preferred or equivalent experience in systems and social work
- Work experience in a faith-based non-profit organization is preferred
- Adept at crisis management and trauma informed care.
Working Conditions:
- Office setting
- Working daily with individuals having medical, mental health, and/or addictive behaviors
- Some travel may be required for various educational and training purposes
- Occasional required attendance at KARM special events
