About the job:

Located in Fort Worth, Texas, the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth Advancement Foundation

serves the North Texas Catholic community by providing the faithful opportunities to grow in

Christian discipleship and stewardship, while promoting human dignity and working for all to

strengthen their relationships in Jesus Christ. The Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) Texas

non-profit corporation, organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious and

educational purposes. As a separate corporation, it is an integrated auxiliary supporting the

Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, charged with receiving contributions intended to benefit

supported activities and managing and distributing these contributions for the benefit of those

supported activities.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the President of the Advancement Foundation, the Director of Data Management

& Prospect Research is responsible for data management efforts of the Catholic Education and

Faith Formation (CEFF) capital campaign in North Texas. Through the management of all data

of the Advancement Foundation, working with Raisers Edge (and other CRM’s), and partnering

with frontline philanthropy professionals, this position will enhance the effectiveness of the

development team by synthesizing relevant information from internal and public sources. This

position will create donor portfolios, create donor pipelines, create donor strategies, perform

prospect research and advise on prospect prioritization to help maximize solicitations for

private gifts and grants.

* Directs and maintains a comprehensive and accurate philanthropic database.

* Manages process of data hygiene, data enhancement, wealth screening and wealth

scoring.

* Partners with campaign leadership to identify feasibility study participants.

* Assists in creation of gift matrix for capital campaign.

* Establishes dashboards for development professionals for performance tracking

purposes.

* Facilitates access and provides training on the database to other staff members.

* Oversees stewardship of Foundation donors, including the tracking and reporting of

endowments.

* Oversees development of a strong prospect pipeline to support fundraising needs of

the Foundation.

* Identify and monitor a list of top prospects for CEFF campaign leadership. Discuss and

encourage prospect strategies with Regional Directors of Development and CEFF

campaign leadership to encourage movement through the philanthropic process.

* Works as part of an integrated management team to establish overall goals and

strategies for increasing private support to the Advancement Foundation. Contributes

to the effective team management of all relevant problems, issues and opportunities.

* Other duties as assigned by the CEFF campaign leadership.

Strategy and Prospecting

* Identifying strategies to renew and increase giving from current donors.

* Reviewing, updating, and refreshing the donor and prospect portfolios and pipelines as

appropriate.

* Developing, planning, designing, and implementing various fundraising programs.

* Conducting research on prospects and donors.

* Assisting with production of general Foundation fundraising meetings and events as

needed

* Generating internal documents as appropriate.

* Completing other tasks and duties as assigned.
