Community Partnership For Families Of San Joaquin (Cpfsj) Is A 501(C)(3) Non-profit Organization That Provides Tools, Resources And Connections Through Partnerships To Help Families Improve Their Quality Of Life. Founded In 1998 In Stockton, California, Cpfsj Has Nearly 20 Years Of Experience Operating Family Resource Centers As A Platform To Build Strong, Resourceful And Financially Self-sufficient Families In San Joaquin County.

Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin (Cpfsj) Operates Family Resource Centers Throughout San Joaquin County. Each Family Resource Center Hosts a Multitude of Family and Youth Services. Cpfsj Provides Youth and Family Case Management, Employment Navigation, Court Navigation, Ab109 Case Management, Ab109 Employment and Training, Family Needs Assessments, Food Distribution, Clothing Distribution, Community Engagement Opportunities and Community Events!

We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to fill the position of Site Director for our Family Resource Center in Lodi, CA. The site manager’s primary responsibility is for the coordination, implementation and management of the neighborhood-based strategies as follows: Family Development, Asset Building, Parent and Child Educational Support Activities and Youth Engagement & Empowerment. The site manager will ensure staff’s understanding and infusion of Family Strengthening Framework, Family Support Principles and Protective Factors; and support the implementation of services, activities, and opportunities for children, youth, families and other residents served through the partnership's neighborhood centers and areas where it is stationed. This is a complex, demanding position that requires a high level of performance in four over-lapping areas: center administration, community relations, community and agency outreach, and the integration of services across multiple disciplines and sectors.

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee designated family resource center including all aspects of facility/maintenance management.
  • Ensures service areas and that the services are responsive to local needs and priorities.
  • Provide a center with a welcoming atmosphere with appropriate workspace and supportive facilities.
  • Engage a broad cross-section of community members in the life of the center.
  • Provide administrative and staff support for the community collaborative.
  • Function as a liaison between the Partnership and its partner agencies and the residents served.
  • Coordinate the use of workstations and meeting rooms and ensure appropriate security at the facility.
  • Oversee the development and ongoing administration of results-based accountability framework and related quality assurance measures.
  • Participates in training to ensure staff understands the results-based accountability framework.
  • Evaluate staff performance and ensure compliance of program and agency/center policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate family success, staff and partner meetings to ensure support of professional and Para-professional staff.
  • Ensure and conduct case management, joint case management, case findings and referrals, and joint service delivery is conducted in a timely, appropriate, family-supportive manner.
  • Work with staff to engage in asset mapping, outreach, and assessment of the community/neighborhood
  • Strategically & intentionally connect center participants with programs and service integration needs.
  • Work with staff, supervisors and agency executives so that center policies and procedures are clear, fair and in conformance with those who work in the center.
  • Participate in the training and orientation of family resource center staff, including the development of training materials and team – building efforts.
  • Assists in partnership development, center management, and support evaluation efforts.
  • Works with public and private agency to address system issue related to the integration of service in each site.
  • Attends meeting of the neighborhood, coalitions and advisory boards and works with these groups to make sure that services reflect the needs and priorities of each geographic service area.
  • Work with partners ranging from county, state and federal organizations including small grass roots organizations.
  • Support grant writing efforts and report to grantors as needed.
  • Develop site budget.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong commitment to the Partnership's mission, to system change, and a willingness to take associated risks.
  • Demonstrated professional interest in working with grassroots organizations, resident organizations, and neighborhood groups.
  • Demonstrated management skills to include supervision of other as a part of a team.
  • Must have the ability to integrate or engineer additional services and/or programs into existing center structure.
  • Able to work independently yet able to work with staff and leadership in a collaborative environment.
  • Strategic planning skills including organization and prioritizing.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated communication skills including writing, speaking and facilitation.
  • Administrative skills to include working with budgets and spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated skills office and computer skills to conduct business.
  • Able to be flexible with work schedule and request.
  • Willing to learn.

Education, License Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, business administration and/or 4 years experience working with non-profits and experience working in multi­-cultural settings or neighborhood-based service initiatives.
  • Must be authorized to work in United States.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications and (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Must provide own transportation and have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance.
  • Must pass a criminal background check by Livescan and pre-emmployment drug screen.
  • Fund-raising and resource development experience.
  • Desirable but not required: bilingual in another language (Spanish, Pashto, Urdu, Hmong, Vietnamese, Cambodian or Laotian.

Compensationa and Benefits:

The Agency provides a competitive wage. The positon is full-time, year-round. Our staff become eligible to enroll into the Agency's benefit prgoram on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. The Agency also offers a generous benefit credit to assist and offset the cost of healthcare expenses. The Agency offers a comprehensive health plan which includes medical, dental, vision, FSA childcare and medical and a 401k Plan. Physical Requirements of the Job

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time, bend, reach, grasp, push, pull and move, lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds at waist height.
  • Employees in this position will be required to work indoors in a standard office environment, outdoor activities such as outreach to target neighborhoods and schools, and will have direct contact with CPF’s leadership staff, other agencies and the public.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally for meetings and events as it relates to your duties.
