What You Will Do: We are seeking a diligent and skilled General Yard and Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position involves maintaining the physical condition and appearance of our facilities and grounds, an average of 12 locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance tasks, landscaping, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure our property remains safe, clean, and orderly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds which includes mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, and seasonal yard clean up.
• Conduct basic repairs and maintenance of property facilities including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition, perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Manage waste removal and recycling in accordance with company policies and city regulations.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including moving furniture and setting up necessary equipment.
• Monitor facilities to ensure they comply with safety standards and building codes.
• Report any major repair requirements or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Work closely with management and other team members to prioritize tasks and projects.
• Manage third party vendors

Physical Demands:

• Some/certain aspects of the work performed are repetitive in nature during some portion of the entire work period/shift. Generally: will sit for prolonged periods of time, will type/enter data, walk/move about work area as necessary, and may lift items of moderate weight (up to 50 #). May require performing inspections from ladders or heights.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or job-related course work is a plus.
• Proven experience in landscaping, general construction, or facilities maintenance.
• Basic understanding of tools and machinery used in grounds keeping and maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks consistently, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible availability including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Ample landscaping and yard maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with HVAC systems, electrical, or plumbing repairs.
• Certifications related to building maintenance (e.g., Certified Maintenance Technician).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
