Decker Truck Line, Inc. has an opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as Buildings & Grounds Supervisor at our new Des Moines Terminal! Great working schedule of Monday-Friday 7-4pm or 8-5pm and on-call as needed! 
Buildings & Grounds Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift, blowers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other tools and equipment as needed to clean and maintain the shop building
  • Routine and extensive grounds keeping and custodial care including:
    • Mowing the grass and landscape upkeep
    • Snow removal when needed
    • Light electrical and plumbing
    • Sweep, mop, polish floors
    • Paint shop areas as needed
    • Clean and organize all areas as needed
    • Restock supplies as needed
    • Remove trash and recyclables as needed
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned
Buildings & Grounds Qualifications
  • Previous directly-related experience
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs
  • Valid Drivers License
  • HVAC experience a plus
  • Prior Overhead Door Maintenance a plus
