FACILITIES MANAGER - PT Contract Position

Dynavac is a rapidly growing company in need of a Part time Contract Facilities Manager to oversee the company’s two facilities in Hingham MA and Rockland MA.

$75 per hour with a maximum of twenty hours per week.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing and renovating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee Dynavac’s facility operations and manage subcontractors while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

Dynavac, located in Hingham MA and has a second plant in Rockland, is an engineering and manufacturing company that builds custom high vacuum process capital equipment for a range of applications that include aerospace testing and thin film coatings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Monitor system performance and coordinate system repairs
• Managing the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and plant facilities
• Manage all contractors that maintain and renovate facilities
• Coordinate capital projects on the implementation of building projects
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocol
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical, and automation systems PID, drawings and schematics.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Excellent project management skills.
  
• Ability to Manage Subcontractors.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years’ experience in facilities management or construction.
