As a Working Supervisor you will help oversee and labor on all phases of the construction or remodeling of residential and/ or commercial swimming pool or spa projects from takeoffs to final inspection. You will work with other supervisors, coordinate and schedule the activities of your crews. You will be responsible for inspecting work progress, construction sites and equipment to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.

Other responsibilities of the Working Supervisor role include:

• Reading blueprints to determine requirements and to plan procedures
• Aid in coordinating work activities with project leaders
• Assigning work to laborers based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs and be able to carry on the same duties as the laborers
• Estimating material or worker requirements to complete jobs
• Conferring with management to resolve problems or to coordinate activities
• Analyzing production problems and recommending solutions
• Improving production methods and implementing motivational plans

Requirements

As a Working Supervisor you must be a motivated individual who is highly organized and able to communicate effectively. Qualified candidates are able to influence others and create a team-oriented environment. You must be able to manage multiple projects while being innovative and creative in challenging situations.

Other requirements of the Working Supervisor roles include:

• Experience in the swimming pool industry recommended but not required
• Education or training in construction or related field, a plus (we will provide training)
• Ability to work with building inspectors and general contractors
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
• Strong analytical skills in evaluating situations
• Ability to receive, comprehend and communicate information and ideas clearly
