Loan Officer Assistant - Loan Partner

We’re hiring a Loan Partner/Loan Officer Assistant who will work directly alongside the #1 Mortgage Broker Team in North Carolina. You will be working with our client database and some of the top real estate agents in the area. $50,000 - $60,000 base plus bonuses, full benefits, profit sharing, pension

$50,000 - $60,000 base + bonuses

• Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned mortgage loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
• Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
• Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
• Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service

• Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position
• Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
• Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
• Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team
