To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Paralegal to join our Wealth Advisory Services team. This role will work closely with the Wealth Advisory Services Partner and assist with estate, gift, and trust compliance and planning services for individuals, business owners, and high net worth families.  We will take a vested interest in your personal and professional development -- come grow your career with us!

In this role, you will:

• Assist with clients' estate settlement process, trust and estate administration, and related settlement and trust accountings.
• Assist with preparing clients' federal estate, state inheritance, federal gift, and federal and state fiduciary income tax returns, and related accountings.
• Assist with occasional tax research projects. 

The successful candidate should have:

• Paralegal certificate, a 4-year degree and/or equivalent Paralegal experience.
• 3+ years of estate planning/tax experience in a law firm, trust department, or accounting firm required. 
• In-depth understanding of estate tax, fiduciary tax, gift tax and estate administration.
• Familiarity with trust and estate accountings.
• Familiarity with probate and administration proceedings and procedures. 
• Experience working with high net-worth clients preferred.
• High degree of initiative, attention to detail and organization in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
• Ability to deal professionally and communicate clearly and concisely with both internal and external clients on all levels.
• Proven analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with systems and programs for tax return preparation, document management, and legal research, including MS Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Live in the greater Minneapolis / St. Paul area.
