Experienced in working in commercial real estate as a Paralegal? Looking to work for an organization that is growing, and truly cares for their employees? THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU!!! Local retail firm is seeking a Paralegal to support their Real Estate team. This position will support the in-house General Counsel. Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with real estate team for various documents to review
  • Reviewing and processing requests from building ownerships/property management
  • Reviewing estoppels and SNDA's
  • Reviewing and auditing incoming leases
  • Highlighting inconsistencies and concerns in the leases
  • Responding to landlord requests
  • Preparing lease agreements and related correspondence
  • Drafting transactional documents
  • Managing compliance and documentation
  • Maintaining information on leasing/sales and purchasing transactions from owners
  • Organizing department schedules
  • Following up with landlords on questions/concerns
  • Assisting GC with a variety of projects

Special Skills:

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and have strong follow up skills

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of Real Estate Paralegal experienced (from either tenant or ownership)
  • Must have BA or BS
  • MS Office - intermediate to advanced
  • Strong commercial lease knowledge - preferably in retail
