Job description

Real Estate Paralegal
We're seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Lakeland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and has experience managing commercial and residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.

Responsibilities
  • Review title commitments and identify title issues
  • Prepare closing documents and real estate transaction paperwork
  • Coordinate commercial and residential real estate closings
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and assist with transaction management
  • Communicate with attorneys, lenders, title companies, clients, and other parties throughout the closing process
  • Maintain accurate files and ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide administrative and legal support as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm is required
  • Paralegal Certificate required
  • Experience with commercial and/or residential real estate transactions
  • Strong knowledge of real estate closing documents and title review
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with ClosingVue is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
  • $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience
