Job Title: Chemical Operator Lead
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Operator Lead to oversee the production operations in our chemical plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operators, ensuring smooth machinery operation, and handling various tasks related to incoming and outgoing packages in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and supervise a team of chemical operators.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
2. Machinery Management:
• Maintain and operate plant machinery, including mixers, vessels, and control functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production equipment promptly.
3. Warehouse Operations:
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages in the warehouse.
• Track inventory, maintain accurate records, and manage packaging and weighing of items.
• Print shipping labels and postage for outgoing products.
• Inspect received goods for damage and ensure proper distribution to other departments.
4. Chemical Handling:
• Store, retrieve, mix, and monitor chemicals used in the production process.
• Record essential information such as ingredients, weights, and temperatures, and input data into the database.
5. Quality Control:
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain product quality.
6. Attention to Detail and Math Skills:
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
• Utilize strong math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Chemical Operator or similar role.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with chemical plant operations and machinery.
• Warehouse management experience, including inventory tracking and packaging.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and math proficiency.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in chemical production.
