Job description

Job Title: Chemical Operator Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am Location: Conshohocken, PA Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Support pilot-scale production and developmental product trials in a pilot plant environment.
  • Operate equipment for pilot-scale trials of developmental products.
  • Conduct tasks in a pilot plant setting and perform basic lab tests for quality control.
  • Monitor processes for deviations and report observations and results to supervisors.
  • Document observations and communicate effectively with the next shift.
  • Contribute to site safety procedures, programs, and policies.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe working environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year industry experience in chemical or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with hazardous chemicals is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of general chemical practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks accurately.
  • Strong observational skills and ability to plan and execute product demonstrations.
  • Previous experience wearing respirators is relevant but not required for current production run.
  • Easy-going, professional attitude with good team collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting chemical or manufacturing environments translatable to the role.
