THE ROLE

The SEO Operations Manager is the organizational force behind the SEO team. They care about the success of our clients and our company, and they care about meeting client expectations. They are forward-thinking and always looking to learn. They have experience in project management and/or SEO. They enjoy building processes and aligning teams. Most importantly, they believe in the core values that drive our day-to-day operations. They own all resourcing, project workflows, request intake, have a general pulse of the team’s day-to-day tasks, and deeper insight into upcoming work in the pipeline. 

This is a full-time remote role.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage SEO, website content strategy, and link building project management and operations pipeline including intake, task building, light execution, and managing multiple projects/stakeholders
• Identify and implement improved processes and workflows for Inbound and SEO teams 
• Collaborate with Archer’s account and partnership teams to determine client needs, prioritization, and clear communication around deadlines
• Report up to Archer leadership around Inbound/SEO team resourcing, forecasting, and process updates
• Maintain relationships and workflows with our diverse client base through day to day communication via phone, email and other methods
• Assist SEO Analyst and Specialist to plan and produce client deliverables
• Effectively communicate and work with team members including a VP of Inbound Marketing and Director of SEO, SEO Analyst, Developers, Content Strategy + Production Team, and Off-Page SEO Team.
• Lead administrative freelance resources to ensure that workflow and Asana management is on track
• Work with the SEO team to protect against bandwidth issues
• Manage Asana requests and all inbound work requests
• Lead all resource planning efforts associated with SEO

THE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience are required.
• Project Management Course Work
• An understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience with industry software (Asana, BaseCamp, JIRA)
• General marketing strategy and how SEO intersects with other channels
• General knowledge of SEO departmental products and services ranging from technical SEO, content strategy, link building, on-page optimization, etc. 
• Thorough knowledge of SEO departmental products and services ranging from technical SEO, content
