Claims Advocate

We are seeking a Claims Advocate with a proven ability to navigate the complexities of general commercial and workers' compensation claims. The Claims Advocate will be responsible for consulting on and managing claims with clients, maintaining relationships with carriers, and auditing the claim handling process.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for serving as the liaison between our clients and insurer regarding all claim matters (Property, Automobile, Workers' Compensation)
• Provide in-depth coverage analysis for general liability claims
• Claim mitigation practices to include complex claims consultation, reserve analysis, and evaluation of claims
• Conduct and coordinate claim reviews with clients and/or carriers on Property and Automobile losses
• Provide in-depth analysis via agency reporting protocols to production staff
• Identify trends in claims and notify management and loss control to help facilitate a resolution
• Occasional travel may be required

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Property & Casualty and/or Adjuster Insurance license required
• Experience with Workers' Compensation policies and claims
• Strong multi-line insurance knowledge and technical understanding of all coverage forms
• Carrier, Agency or Third-Party Administrator Claims Experience 
• Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools
