Position: Occupational Therapist OTR/L

Location: School of Imagination & Happy Talkers, onsite in Dublin, CA

Hours: Full-time, salary-exempt

Term: Summer 2024, Jun 24, 2024 to Jul 31, 2024

Job Summary:

Join our nonprofit organization, leading in inclusive early childhood education for neurodiverse learners. As an Occupational Therapist, provide vital therapy focusing on sensory integration, motor skills, and self-care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in parent/caregiver training, enhancing the extraordinary in every child.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other providers, educators, and families for integrated care.
Participate in continuing education and team meetings.
Achieve specified productivity and billable hours targets of 32-35 hours per week.
Fulfill the Infant Development Program requirements of the following therapy as defined in the Little Sunshines Playbook.
Collaborate with Family Services to actively manage problem-solving with families that frequently cancel, ensuring appropriate escalation of support is provided.

Reporting Structure:

You will report directly to the Director of Clinical Services, ensuring a cohesive team approach to care with our multidisciplinary therapy and educational teams.

Offer:

Competitive salary ($85,000 - $100,359 per year)

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current California license as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred, indicating a background in working with children to support their physical, cognitive, and sensory needs.
