Position Summary:
The Customer Messaging Coordinator will work on the Customer Messaging and Community team to optimize and elevate messaging channels including email, SMS, and push notifications.

Accountabilities/Duties:

  • Build national and local bakery emails, customer lifecycle and loyalty journeys, and triggered campaigns
  • Build and schedule SMS and push notifications
  • Provide recommendations to optimize engagement, conversion, and retention KPIs, as well as promote subscriber list growth and health
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive targeted messaging, align marketing calendars, and refine creative assets to achieve business goals
  • Communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual channel performance
  • Monitor industry trends and email best practices to maintain best-in-class standards regarding CAN SPAM, GDPR, TCPA, etc.

    Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements

    • 1-3 years experience in the email marketing and/or mobile marketing industry desired
    • SMS/mobile marketing experience using Attentive, Twillio, MobileConnect, or Airship
    • Email deployment experience on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Cordial, Zeta, or other enterprise level email service provider
    • Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc. , preferred not required
    • Intermediate expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, preferred not required
    • Intermediate expertise in HTML/CSS and troubleshooting code, preferred not required
    • Knowledge of Ampscript, Liquid, or SQL, preferred not required
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics, preferred not required
