Sales Representative – Denver, CO

Our client, an established provider of retaining wall solutions in commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Representative to join their dynamic team and spearhead the sales efforts for their retaining wall systems.

As a Retaining Wall Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our innovative and effective retaining wall products. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and cultivating sales leads, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and ultimately closing sales deals. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform thorough market research to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities within the construction industry retaining wall products.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, engineers, contractors, and developers, through effective communication and networking efforts.

- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients to highlight the unique features and benefits.

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotes, engage in negotiations, and successfully close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, case studies, and other resources that support and enhance the sales process.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and analyze market conditions to identify strategic opportunities for business growth.

- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote products, expand brand awareness, and cultivate professional relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

- Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.

- Familiarity with wall systems is highly preferred.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

- Strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to close deals, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment.

- Willingness to travel as required to engage with clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

- Proficiency in CAD or 3D design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketchup or similar programs, is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset in this role. The ability to create detailed drawings and visualizations wall solutions using these tools will enhance your effectiveness in communicating with clients and supporting the sales process.
