Assistant Swim Team Coach

Hidden Hollow Swim Club Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for assisting coaching for the Hidden Hollow Swim Team during the Summer Season. S(he) will assist the head coach and support other Assistant Swim Coach(es). Ensure quality coaching and stroke technique.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist and complete practice workouts that includes technique training, drills, racing skill, and aerobic training for all age groups
• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting daily practice sessions.
• Engage with swimmers and their families, providing constructive feedback and communication.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
• Assist in preparation for swim meets; partner with other coaches and Create team lineups for meets
• Attend all practices and swim meets
• Effectively communicate with parents and the parent committee
• Support Parent Committee initiatives
• Assist with planning for end of year party (awards, gifts, and food)
• Help with administrative responsibilities including record keeping, scheduling, and equipment inventory.

Competencies and Qualifications

• 2+ years coaching experience of multiple age groups and ability levels preferred
• Experience supervising staff and developing swim training curriculums
• CPR, AED, & First Aid Certification
• All 3 PA Clearance requirements
