Masters Swim Coach - Lakeshore Sport & Fitness (Part-Time)
Locations: Lincoln Park & Illinois Center | Start Date: July 1
Lakeshore Sport & Fitness is seeking part-time Masters Swim Coaches to lead our 6:00am and 6:30am practices. Our LSF team is U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) registered and competes in several meets throughout the year, along with open water swims.
What we're looking for:
• Competitive swimming background - collegiate or high school experience required
• Coaching or swim instruction experience preferred
• Ability to coach all levels, from 1:20 to 2:00 pace per 100 yards
• Strong communication skills and an energizing on-deck presence
• Early morning availability and reliability
What you'll do:
• Plan and lead structured workouts for adult swimmers of varied abilities
• Provide stroke technique feedback and individual coaching
• Build a positive, motivating team culture on deck
• Support swimmers preparing for meets and open water events
