Chemical Mixer / Batchmaker

Our client is an industry/global leader in developing consumer products in various areas of their business. Some of the industries that they support are Hygiene, Health and Beauty, Life Care as well as cosmetics. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the chemical and cosmetic field.

Pay: $21/hr
Shift: M-F, 7-4

Responsibilities 

• Operates ink-making machinery and equipment.
• Prepares inks by pulling, weighing, and blending raw materials (water, solvent, UV/EB, or oil-based).
• Reads and interprets batch tickets, following work processes and procedures.
• Accurately completes documentation, including recording information on batch tickets, labeling containers, packaging inks, and inspecting customer products.
• Ensures production schedules and metrics are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Adheres to safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Attends all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
• Conducts inventory control activities.
• Loads and unloads materials as needed

Requirements

• Employee must have a high school degree or equivalent.     
• Prior batch-making or compounding experience is required.
• Prior experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is preferred.
