The Product Sales Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a consistent sales delivery to our internal and external partners through dual delivery model in follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Responsible for all internal and external growth initiatives that require coaching, mentoring and training for staff.
  • Responsible for dissemination and implementation of communications.
  • Partner with Marketing on collateral initiatives.
  • Provide support on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities.
  • Increase efficiencies of daily sales and operational activities.
  • Responsible for reporting sales results and reasons for successes.
  • Support sales executives with specific business initiatives; create, lead and advise on sales and product training; and support growth of sales.
  • Liaise between sales teams and branches on initiatives.
  • Represent sales on the development of strategies and programs to effectively partner with the bank.
  • Responsible for partnering sales leadership to deliver activities, programs and promotions on monthly sales and marketing calls.
  • Partner with leadership in developng and executing rallies, recognition, focus days and/or seminars targeted towards increasing sales volume and customer relationships.
  • Responsible for all marketing material, collateral and signage.
  • Liaise with partners to develop marketing opportunities to maximize growth in sales and customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction.
  • Work in coordination with sales executives in creating, driving and supporting business plans and initiatives.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales, training and/or support preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends in order to come up with ideas to help increase specific performance indicators and results.
  • Proven success record in selling and/or leading others.
  • Ability to clearly articulate business objectives and/or programs to various levels of management across the organizations.
  • Requires use of conceptual and innovative thinking

Citi's U.S. Consumer Cards business has a unique opportunity to leverage its consumer relationships, technology and leading credit cards position to deliver customer value in a targeted and impactful way. To deliver on this mission, we are seeking to hire an On Card Lend Consumer Product Sales Senior Analyst to be part of the US Value, Commerce & Lending & On Card Spend and Lend organization, reporting to the On Card Lend Business Head. Balance transfer and Flex Loan are on-card lending features and is part of Citi's lending continuum.
The Consumer Product Sales Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing product performance to drive product strategy. They will partner closely with Decision Management, Analytics, Control, Marketing, Digital, Risk and Operations and focus on optimizing product performance and analytics, marketing and digital strategy, enhancing digital user experience, call center training and sales support, and product research.
Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain understanding of Balance Transfer & Flex Loan product, including customer needs, competitive environment, and the operations and customer experience of the product
  • Monitor product profitability and performance against financial targets; analyze variances and track metrics such as marketing expenses, originations, loans, number of transactions and ticket sizes
  • Review analytical dashboards and support performance monitoring, including but not limited to competitive intelligence, digital funnel reporting, channel reporting, etc., to ensure product operates as intended on an ongoing basis and provides a seamless customer experience
  • Integrate digital funnel analytics and customer journey insights to identify friction points and drive increased conversion and repeat usage.
  • Manage product roadmap of initiatives, ensuring cross-functional awareness and alignment with partners and supporting continuous improvement in the Balance Transfer & Flex Loan product and experience
  • Coordinate and prepare presentations for effective updates and reviews with senior management and partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners, such as Finance, Risk, Analytics, Marketing, and Digital, to execute on agreed priorities within established operating plans and timelines
  • Lead, manage, and execute key control initiatives, partnering closely with control functions to design, implement, and maintain robust controls that ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Support ad hoc requests from management as needed
