Hourly Pay Range: $28 – $35+ to start DOE.


Job Description for a Remote Project Lead and Administration Support Specialist :

This job is Remote. The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting practices, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Must be capable of managing multiple and competing priorities with frequently tight deadlines skillfully, reliably, accurately, and confidentially while demonstrating discretion and independent judgment in all areas of operation. Input and demand come from multiple directions, people, organizations and activities and complexity is amplified by competing priorities that are presented many times during a day. Managing this breadth and complexity requires a good working relationship with colleagues, excellent rapport with support staff, an ability to deal with the unexpected, resilience and stability in stressful situations, an ability to maintain an optimistic outlook, a capacity for innovation, and a willingness to embrace change and process improvement.

Roles and responsibilities of a Remote Project Lead and Administration Support Specialist :

  • This position is remote, full-time with a schedule: Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm.
  • Must be able to travel once or twice a week to West Seattle for the mail run, to office, and deliver to employees in various locations.
  • Assist in implementing the day-to-day functions of the accounting department.
  • Knowledge of computers, data entry/retrieval, output, etc.
  • Well experienced in reviewing contracts.
  • Stays current with facility contracts along with industry changes, covered charges, and billing practices.
  • Manage the business office systems in accordance with company policies and procedures including completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and non-negotiables.
  • Identify, research and correct billing discrepancies timely and communicate with the administrator and regional support to problem solve and collect on difficult accounts.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Exchange including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Loop.
  • Coordinates daily activities for accounting department.
  • Must be able to administer multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent time management skills and priority decision making.
  • Support the general administration of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and administrative Human Resource functions and procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations at the community assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications for a Remote Project Lead and Administration Support Specialist :

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have 10 years of experience in administrative and accounting.
  • Supervisory or Management experience preferred.
  • Required - Experience reviewing contracts.
  • Required - Experience with inventory management.
  • At least Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, email, teams.
  • Must be knowledgeable of computers, data entry/retrieval, output, etc.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to adapt.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by the Executive Business Manager.
  • Must be able to type 45 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently and harmoniously with other personnel.
  • Must be able to complete tasks and meet deadlines with the potential for multiple interruptions throughout the workday.
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing sound accounting techniques.
  • Must be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing accounting practices.
  • Must possess the ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports.
  • Must be able to prepare financial and other records in a systematic, neat, and legible manner.
