Job Description

§We are looking for a talented and motivated undergraduate/graduate student to support developing advanced control algorithms and evaluation on a complex virtual framework that combines vehicle dynamics, propulsion performance, and simulation models. This internship position is to provide assistance in building control algorithms to be integrated into our simulation ecosystem for virtual development, validation and in vehicle RCP. This position is also to work on engineering tasks related to tool generation, and data analysis process automation.

§Enhanced controls level experience/capability within SPA

§ Contribution and support in controls development area for modeling and improved data analysis toolsets

§ Create Simulink model for HVAC Wind Down, Smart Terrain Mode, and Smart EV Drive Mode

§ Create data processing application for automation and visualization to improve development efficiency

§Required Qualifications:

*Enrolled as undergraduate/graduate student in ME, EE, or similar program

*Knowledge of Python or similar scripting language

*Experience in engineering tools such as Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow

*Excellent teamwork, written and oral communication skills

*Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
