Job Title: Inside Sales Coordinator
Summary
The Inside Sales Coordinator provides assistance to Sales Representatives and Sales Management. The successful candidate will help maximize and increase the sales staff’s efficiency and productivity. Must be comfortable with technical products, eager to learn and willing to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports Account Representatives as necessary with Order Entry, Part Number Creation, Freight Quotes/Tracking, etc.
- Acts as a link between Account Representatives and other departments including Customer Service, Engineering, Planning, Production, and Shipping
- Provides status updates to Account Representatives on open quotes, open orders, freight tracking etc.
- Generates/Maintains reports for Account Representatives so they can track daily shipments and open orders.
- Develops an understanding of basic company products and systems to be able to independently support customer requests and requirements.
- Builds and strengthens Account Representative customer-relationships through ongoing communication and support.
- Follows up on order execution ensuring all commitments are complete and on time.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regular manual dexterity/coordination: hand/eye movements, motor control.
- Regular visual effort: concentrated reading of documentation or close viewing of computer displays.
- 1-3 years Customer Service or Sales Experience.
- Understanding of or comfort level with technical products.
- Advanced competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Type minimum of 50 WPM.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- B.S./B.A. and/or experience with construction/material handling equipment or relevant work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of Customer Service or Sales Experience.
- Experience with ERP Systems such as Global Shop or similar.
- Appropriate market knowledge.
- Willingness to travel as required.
