Job Description

We are currently seeking a NAPPS Analyst to join our team in Kingsville, TX.

 

What you’ll do:

MBC is looking for personnel to support the Naval Aviator Production Process Sustainment (NAPP S) efforts undertaken by the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA). The Analyst, working with command personnel, will ensure effective data collection, entry and validation of NAPP data sources into the NAPP Integrated Production Data Repository (NIPDR)/NAPP data base for chart generation, data collection and production analysis.

· Develop and monitor squadron production plans. Generate NAPP centric briefs and resource entitlements submissions.

· Prepare Squadron student load sheets and Integrated Production Plan (IPP) generation submissions in accordance with the Training Requirements Letter and Task Group Guidance.

· Attend and represent squadron at semi-annual CNATRA sponsored Production Alignment Conferences (PAC) and other CNATRA and Task Group (TG) production meetings as required.

· Maintain and update Corporate Enterprise Training and Resource System (CeTARS) data base with student starts, completes and interruptions to training, and liaison with the CNAP/CNAL CeTARS POC's for class convening's/schedules/seats for assigned Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS).

· Provide analysis and recommendation regarding production and resource utilization through interpretation of NAPP NIPDR charts.

· Provide in-house NAPP training to newly reported squadron personnel (including CO, XO, OPS, TO) who will be involved with NAPP.

· Develop and submit annual Command Production Planning Factors (PPF) input.

· Verify and correct where necessary, data provided to squadron for PPF submittal from outside sources including OPNAV and CNAF. Examples include historical MC/FMC rates, turnaround time per event, weather loss rates, overhead rates, etc.

· Use PPF's to determine production capacity and barriers and run various scenarios to analyze and brief production capacity in view of possible changes in resources.

· Make accurate, factual based recommendations with respect to resources required and alternative options to meet production capacity.

· Integrate with squadron planning team for correct scheduling and tracking when implementing a new T/M/S aircraft, training syllabus, change in curriculum and any changes to the master curriculum schedule.

· Attend daily, weekly and monthly liaison, meetings and briefings with CNAP/CNAL CeTARS POCs, CNAF PPF POC, CNATRA and appropriate TG NAPP personnel, NPC Placement Officers, TYPEWING and Squadron Ops, Training, Maintenance, Student Control, ISD, CO/XO and others as required.

Our ideal candidate:

Required Education and Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience and two to four years of related (project support or management) experience.

· Willingness to travel up to 10%.

· Must have personal transportation and comply with all vehicular/personnel requirements necessary to access U.S. Military installations.

· Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.

· Must be able to obtain/maintain Information Assurance (IA) user certification after obtaining NMCI user account

· Must be a US Citizen.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Former senior Naval Aviation Administrationman (AZ) or Aircrewman (AW) familiar with the Naval Aviation training environment is preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency with Word and PowerPoint along with basic experience with Access.
  • Familiarity with and ability to properly enter and extract student training production data from the Navy's CeTARS data monitoring and reporting system.
  • Experience with other data base applications including web browser technologies and common data entry requirements, Windows operating systems and communicating/connectivity within the NMCI environment.
  • Strong information management and analytical thinking skills and be comfortable and productive in a fast-paced environment.
