Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst I to support business and technology initiatives across cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, and project support. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to understand business needs, document requirements, support ongoing initiatives, and translate technical information into clear, professional documentation and communications. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and development teams to understand business needs, processes, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes.
  • Document current and future-state business processes and identify potential gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Support root cause analysis and process improvement activities.
  • Translate technical concepts and project updates into clear, business-friendly language for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop professional documentation and communication materials, including presentations, reports, summaries, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project deliverables and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project and requirements documentation.
  • Provide general project and business analysis support under the guidance of senior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related analytical or business-focused discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to organize information and communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of business analysis, requirements gathering, or process mapping concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous exposure to business analysis, technology, or project-based work through internships, coursework, academic projects, or early-career experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
  • Exposure to tools or technologies such as Figma, SQL, Visual Studio, or UX/UI concepts is a plus but not required.
