Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Health Business Analyst to join our Division of Health Finance team located at the Abbott Miller Bldg working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Performs monthly analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and prepares monthly financial statements and other financial reports for internal and external use. Helps develop process and procedures to enhance the financial reporting of the Nation. Compile and analyze data for business development and assurance from which recommendations and proposals can be made.
Responsibilities:
* Issues monthly financial statements
* Performs monthly analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
* Verifies proper classification of fixed assets and ensures that proper protocol is followed
* Works with independent auditors during annual audit, agency auditors during financial management reviews, and internal auditors as necessary
* Collect and compare pertinent data for the new or expanded services
* Assists leadership with financial questions and/or research
* Develop and present relevant proposals for expansion and study
* Develop key metrics to monitor implemented services for performance
* Consistently track the development of new or expanded services in order to achieve goals and objectives
* Assists with budget development and review
* Prepares journal entries for month and fiscal year end
* Posts financial transactions
* All other duties as assigned
