Responsibilities

• You will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of maintenance operations to ensure our facilities are in optimal condition.
• We expect you to lead a team of maintenance professionals by providing training, guidance, and support to achieve high performance and productivity.
• You shall develop and implement a preventative maintenance program that minimizes unplanned downtime and extends the lifespan of equipment.
• You will establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts for machinery, equipment, and supplies necessary for operations and maintenance.
• We expect you to conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues before they escalate into larger problems.
• You shall prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, including costs incurred, resources used, and progress made, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• You will manage the maintenance budget, making sure expenses stay within limits while still achieving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• We expect you to stay current with the latest technologies and practices in maintenance management to continuously improve processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent degree or 4 to 7 years of relevant working experience.
• A working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, related maintenance processes and environmental equipment and regulation.
• You must possess a strong understanding of industrial maintenance procedures and best practices, specifically within the manufacturing sector.
• You should have proven experience in leading maintenance teams effectively, ensuring high levels of team performance and job satisfaction.
• We require you to have comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement these standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• You need to demonstrate capability in project management, from planning and budgeting to execution and evaluation, with a focus on maintenance-related projects.
• You should be adept at developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs that minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• We expect you to have solid problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• You must be proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track maintenance work and analyze maintenance data.
• You should exhibit excellent communication skills, able to clearly convey maintenance plans and expectations to your team and other stakeholders.
