Job Description

Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a keen and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Your role will involve the normalization and standardization of data, both internal and external, to ensure accurate and consistent reporting, all while independently driving projects to glean insights and improve operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards utilizing Power BI and SQL queries.
- Translate data into informative visuals and reports with a keen analytical mindset.
- Bridge the communication gap between business stakeholders and the data engineering team to support data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with a diverse set of business stakeholders to determine analytical requirements for reporting and automation.
- Conduct research and work alongside Data Engineers to integrate data into Snowflake, evaluate data quality, and design comprehensive business intelligence solutions.
- Deliver in-depth analysis on key business queries and present actionable findings.
- Create and update dashboards that provide continuous delivery of insights.
- Establish and uphold a data dictionary and data lineage for metrics and reporting.
- Employ creative problem-solving skills to address challenges related to data quality and integration.
- Communicate effectively with a broad audience range, both in writing and verbally, to maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of recurring reports to the executive team.
- Design and distribute documentation for Power BI training within the business community.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking or credit union sector.
- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI development, including proficiency in DAX and complex calculations.
- Over 7 years of experience in developing advanced SQL queries.
- Familiarity with cloud database technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, Azure, or other relevant platforms.
- Proficient in MS Office suite including Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Additional experience with SQL Server, SSRS, or Python would be advantageous.

Salary Range:

$100,000-$150,000/Annual
