Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at our facilities. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the upkeep and efficient operation of our equipment, machinery, and buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a maintenance program to ensure the optimal functioning of all equipment and machinery
- Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and guidance as needed
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Monitor and track maintenance expenses and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential problems
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for the maintenance team
- Develop and maintain maintenance records and reports for tracking and analysis
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in maintenance management

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and industry standards
- Familiarity with maintenance software and systems
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control maintenance expenses
