Position Overview: We are looking for a Statistical Analyst (Summer Internship) to join our team Actuarial team. You will assist in preparing a variety of actuarial welfare reports for clients.

Successful candidates generally have background in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistical Analysis, Data Analysis.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or working towards in a relatable business field.

Experience: Strong mathematical background. 2+ years work and/or educational history within a mathematics, actuarial science, or data analysis field is preferred.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office.

Specific Requirements: Excel proficiency is required.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Typically sitting at a desk or table for long periods.
  2. Intermittently bending, standing, and stooping.
  3. Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute ratios, percentages, and basic algebraic formulas.

Problem Solving - Ability to identify and resolve practical problems in a timely manner. Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
