We are seeking advanced level Actuarial Analyst experienced in leveraging advanced statistical modeling, data analytics and actuarial principles to assess financial risks and guide strategic decisions for our Company. This Senior Actuarial Analyst independently leads a wide range of complex projects/tasks, such as evaluating pricing models, analyzing claims trends, completing claims triangles and reserve estimates, preparing financial statements, actuarial exhibits and forecast modeling.
What You'll Do:
  • Conducts modeling and analysis of complex actuarial models for pricing, reserving, forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Develops rating factor recommendations, taking laws into consideration based on the business line.
  • Examine information, such as claims, and provide detailed analysis of metrics and trend data reporting with benchmarks.
  • Prepares financial statements and actuarial exhibits for financial reporting purposes.
  • Reviews and revises financial forecast models and assumptions.

Job-Specific Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another related field.
  • Four or more years of experience in the actuarial field.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • SOA exams passed equivalency = (Years of experience in actuarial field) + (number of SOA exams passed) = โ‰ฅ 10
  • Ability to distill complex ideas when documenting actuarial assumptions, methodologies and findings as well as authoring executive summaries.
  • Confident speaker with the ability to listen deeply, articulate ideas clearly adapting to different audiences, and maintain clarity under pressure.

Preferred include:
  • Working knowledge of databases, SAS and/or SQL.
