Outside Sales Rep

Scout Pest Control is looking to expand our outside sales team!

We are market leaders in providing the highest quality pest control service in North Alabama. We are growing and want to expand our team to help us capture more new customers in our area. This position is geared to specialize in targeting homeowners recently moved into our service area. This will be done through cold contacting new homeowners to offer service; through working with builders to increase our pretreatments on new construction homes, and through targeted discounts and offerings to certain neighborhoods. The sales rep will be expected to develop and foster relationships with home builders to help facilitate setting up pre-treatment contracts on new homes. Having an existing relationship with home builders is beneficial, but not required. 

Position Summary: Responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers.

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Detail-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Builds and sustains long-lasting relationships with key individuals (builders, real estate agents, insurance agents, business owners and leaders.)
• Continually meets or exceeds sales targets by selling high quality pest control products to new and existing customers.
• Focuses on residential accounts and working with builders to help them choose Scout for their pre-treatments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven outside sales experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel between sales calls.
