Surgical Dental Assistant
- $32 to $35 Hourly

We are a Periodontal Specialty practice located in San Jose CA. We are currently looking to hire 2 surgical assistants to join our growing practice. Responsibilities include:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring aseptic technique is followed
- Set up and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and report any changes to the surgical team
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient records
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections
- Take dental x-rays such as 3D scans and periapical x-rays
-Digital scanning using our Trios Scanner, Instarisa Scanner and ICam scanner
