In this role, the primary responsibility of an Intake Supervisor holds a position of higher responsibility and authority within the organization's intake department. In addition to performing the core duties of an intake specialist, the supervisor will oversee the entire intake process for clients seeking representation. The supervisor will work closely with attorneys and staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient intake process.
- Lead and manage a team of intake staff members. Assign tasks, provide training and guidance, conduct performance evaluations, and address any issues or conflicts within the team.
- Generate reports on intake activities, caseloads, and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement in the intake process. Collaborate with management or other departments to implement process enhancements.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance of intake information and documentation. Conduct audits or reviews of completed applications to identify deficiencies or errors.
- Collect and review all relevant documents and information from clients, including medical records, employment history, and financial documentation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to support the SSD claims.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently with employees at all levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
